Duties and responsibilities:
Provides customer service, counting containers for deposit refund and may operate till. Prepares containers for shipping and load products onto trailers for transport.
Duties include:
- Loading and unloading trailers by hand or using depot equipment; Forklift, pallet jack
- Preparing containers for shipping
- Following safety procedures and safe work practices
- Receiving customer containers at front counter and counts orders for deposits refunds
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties within the depot
- Customer relations- dealing with inquiries about deposits amounts and different containers
Qualifications:
Education:
- Basic reading and writing required
- Previous customer service
- Good counting skills
- Able to lift up to 50Lbs
- Ability to work in a team environment
Experience:
- Basic knowledge of Recycling
Skills:
- Good math, writing and reading skills and accuracy
- Physical stamina (requires standing for long periods of time)
- Basic computer skills are required
Final Candidates are required to provide satisfactory criminal record checks including a vulnerable sector search.
