Duties and responsibilities:

Provides customer service, counting containers for deposit refund and may operate till. Prepares containers for shipping and load products onto trailers for transport.

Duties include:

  • Receiving customer containers at front counter and counts orders for deposits refunds
  • Preparing containers for shipping
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties within the depot
  • Loading and unloading trailers by hand or using depot equipment
  • Following safety procedures and safe work practices
  • Customer relations- dealing with inquiries about deposits amounts and different containers




  • Basic reading and writing required
  • Previous customer service
  • Good counting skills
  • Able to lift up to 50Lbs
  • Ability to work in a team environment


  • Basic knowledge of Recycling


  • Good math, writing and reading skills and accuracy
  • Physical stamina (requires standing for long periods of time)
  • Basic computer skills are required
