Celebrating Disability Service Professionals Week 2025

This week, we recognize and thank the many professionals across Saskatchewan who support individuals experiencing disability through their work, care, and daily actions. Disability Service Professionals Week is a time to highlight the meaningful contributions of people in a wide range of roles—each one essential to building stronger, more inclusive communities.

At SaskAbilities, these individuals are at the heart of what we do. Through programs and services that reach over 50,000 people across the province each year, it is our staff members who make connection, progress, and possibility real for the individuals and families we serve.

To all the disability service professionals at SaskAbilities and throughout the province: thank you! Your work reflects a deep respect for the dignity and value of every person. You help remove barriers, create welcoming spaces, and ensure that more people can live, work, and thrive in the communities they call home. A single week is not enough to reflect the impact of what you do—but it is a chance for us to say how much it matters.
