Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM)

SaskAbilities brings inclusive hiring to the forefront with events and activities highlighting Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM) in October

Since 2011, the province of Saskatchewan has recognized October as Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM). For the past 13 years, DEAM has prompted important discussions, spotlighting the many benefits of inclusive hiring in the workplace across all industries and sectors. SaskAbilities’ Partners in Employment offices across the province are especially encouraged by the momentum DEAM builds each year in community engagement and increased interest in employment inclusion.

Get ready to ignite inclusion and celebrate diversity with SaskAbilities’ Partners in Employment offices across the province! This year, SaskAbilities’ Partners in Employment Offices are hosting events and activities for National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), including participating in the national Light it Up!
