SaskAbilities Spotlights Disability Service Professionals Week

Disability Service Professionals Week is a time to recognize and honour the dedication, compassion, and expertise of the many helping professionals who work tirelessly in our community to support individuals experiencing disability. These professionals span a spectrum of job duties, titles, and roles and all play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our community.

This week is especially meaningful at SaskAbilities as each year we provide programs and services to over 50,000 individuals experiencing disability in the province. It is because of the many dedicated staff members and professionals who work at SaskAbilities in communities all across Saskatchewan that we are able to make such an impact on individuals and their families.

Thank you to the many disability service professionals at SaskAbilities and within the province. Your contributions and commitment goes beyond job duty and title; it reflects the deep-seated belief in the inherent worth and dignity of all individuals. It is with your support and dedication that we continue to build safe spaces and inclusive communities for all. A week is simply not enough to celebrate the work you do.
