Welcome Back, Campers!
SaskAbilities is pleased to announce that Camp Easter Seal will be open to in-person programming for the summer of 2022. Camp Easter Seal will offer 11 weeks of programming beginning June 13th. Each week will offer the traditions we have all grown to cherish – talent shows, swimming in the pool, sports and games, campfires, outdoor meals, and more. We are also excited to share that we have two new ways to enjoy camp this summer. The first is designed for children, ages 6 to 9 years of age, who can attend camp, possibility for the first time, with the knowledge that their family will be joining them for some of the sessions. It’s a great 3-night/4-day camp sure to be a hit with families of younger campers. The second new thing we are doing this summer is hosting a special camp, at the end of the summer, designed for group home cohorts to attend together. Details on all of our sessions, the age groupings, the themes, are listed on our website.
As always, Camp Easter Seal is a truly accessible and inclusive space and program. We want all campers to enjoy their time at camp, and so, in order for campers, their families and caregivers to understand what camp is like, we invite everyone to view the “What to Expect” section of our website prior to registration. Our website also features a tour of the camp and testimonies from campers and families. Registration opens on Monday, February 14th at 9 AM. We are very excited to see you all again.
