A global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to COVID-19. All Canadians are invited to join us in demonstrating the power of generosity.
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that happens each year after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It’s a global day of giving, but more than that, it’s a reminder for all of us to turn our thoughts towards others and our community this time of year. Far more than a moment, Giving Tuesday is a movement! Because of the impact of COVID-19, the initiative has moved up and is looking to make an impact when we need it most.
SaskAbilities supports over 60,000 clients annually through employment, rehabilitation, and recreational programs.
One of our flagship programs is Camp Easter Seal. Although we have had to take this year to pause on the physical aspect of camp, we are working hard at delivering interactive experiences to our campers through virtual programming. We need your help to maintain camp and maintain the ability to be open for the 2021 season.
We have a saying at Camp: “Whether in fair or dark stormy weather, Camp Easter Seal will keep us together.” Campers are counting on us to make sure the Camp Easter Seal tradition continues next year once the threat of Covid-19 has passed. They are also counting on us for ongoing contact, connection and community in a time of great uncertainty and anxiety
Please help us keep connected and to maintain Camp Easter Seal as we ask for your support this Giving Tuesday. We appreciate you choosing SaskAbilities as one of your causes to support during this years Giving Tuesday! Our donation page is here: Click here to donate
You can also help us to break down barriers by telling us your story or the story of someone in your life who has made a positive impact and share their spirit of giving here!
