The rewards of laughter, play and learning are immeasurable for every child. Summer Fun is a recreational program for children and youth aged 6 to 22 aimed at fostering community inclusion, encouraging social skill development and increasing the self-confidence and self-esteem in program participants.
Summer Fun programming runs July and August each summer. Registration fees may be applicable.
Highlight from the Regina Summer Fun Program:
The young adults in the Regina Summer Fun program discovered that sometimes the most memorable moments happen when you least expect it. A potluck in the park on a beautiful summer evening spontaneously turned into an outdoor dance celebration. “It was not planned so we made our own fun that night. Anyone who wanted to dance could join in. Nobody was left out,” explains Michael Easton, Quality of Life Supervisor.
Volunteers are essential to the success of this program. Join our team and be part of providing opportunities for summer fun and learning for children with disabilities in your community.
