The program supports individuals experiencing disability with access to preventative measures, education, support and various strategies to reduce crisis. This program is delivered by highly trained team members, an interventionist and outreach support worker.
Crisis Interventionist
The crisis interventionist develops and implements programming for clients in crisis including behavioural interventions, cognitive approaches and environmental/ecological strategies. This includes organizing and delivering training specific to the client including crisis cycle, reactive strategies and positive programming.
Outreach Crisis Support Worker
The Outreach Crisis Support Worker provides supportive assistance for the physical and emotional well-being of the client by building capacity through role modelling crisis-support strategies. This is achieved through crisis intervention, providing clients with access to community activities and venues.
