RecyclAbility Enterprises
RecyclAbility provides a confidential paper pick-up and drop-off service to local businesses in the Swift Current and Yorkton communities. All shredded paper is recycled and diverted from landfills, helping us preserve the environment.

Swift Current Recycle Depot
The recyclable materials accepted include:
- Cardboard: clean and flattened
- Paper Products: newspaper, office paper, magazines, telephone books, shredded paper, and any other type of unsoiled paper product
- Plastics: food and cleaning product containers rinsed well of any food or chemical contaminant
- Tin Cans: all types—rinsed and labels removed
- Plastic milk jugs and cartons: rinsed well, caps removed
- Clear glass: rinsed, labels and lids removed
- Batteries: Swift Current ONLY, contact us for details on accepted varieties
The recyclable materials NOT accepted include:
- Plastic strapping or six-pack rings
- Styrofoam of any type
- Toys or household appliances
- Used tissues or paper towels of any kind
- Soiled or waxed cardboard
- Glossy paper
- Clamshell food containers
- Plastic #6
- Plastic films and bags
- Glass – colored. Please take to SARCAN

Yorkton Recycle Depot
The recyclable materials accepted include:
- Cardboard: clean and flattened
- Paper Products: newspaper and flyers (non-glossy), office paper, magazines (non-glossy), telephone books, shredded paper (must be bagged separately and no shredded newspaper or flyers please, ONLY office paper or white bond paper), and any other type of unsoiled paper product
- Plastics: #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7
- Tin Cans: all types—rinsed and labels removed
- Deposit containers – milk jugs and cartons must be rinsed and caps off
The recyclable materials NOT accepted include:
- Plastic strapping or six-pack rings
- Styrofoam or any type of foam
- Toys or household appliances
- Used tissues, paper towels or shop towels of any kind
- Soiled or waxed cardboard
- Glossy paper and flyers
- Plastic films and bags
- Glass – clear or colored. Please take glass to SARCAN

Yorkton RecyclAbility Enterprises
RecyclAbility Enterprises provides a variety of recycling services to the residents and businesses of Yorkton and surrounding area.
- Residential Recycling – residents of Yorkton can drop off cardboard, paper, plastics, and tin at any of the 4 Community Recycling Bins located in Yorkton, including the 180 Ball Road RecyclAbility Enterprises. Residents are encouraged to participate in the weekly Curb-side Recycling Program.
- Eco Recycling Centre – Pails & jugs of Oil (no drums), Oil Filters, and Antifreeze can all be dropped off at the Eco Recycling Centre. The knowledgeable and friendly staff at RecyclAbility Enterprises can safely dispose of and recycle these products.
- Household Hazardous Waste Depot – Household hazardous waste is any product that is considered hazardous when it is toxic, corrosive, explosive, flammable or reactive and can be used in a household setting. These products are safe to use but unsafe for our landfill environments. When it comes time for their disposal visit the Household Hazardous Waste Depot to ensure they are recycled correctly and safely.
*Note: This program is available to Yorkton residents only. No businesses or surrounding communities - Composting – A seasonal composting bin is available from May to November each year. Leaves, grass clippings, and garden waste are accepted materials and can be dropped off at RecyclAbility Enterprises.
*Note: No tree branches of any size are accepted - Commercial Recycling – services are also available to the business community in Yorkton and the area! Businesses must make their own recycling arrangements and can either deliver their materials to RecyclAbility Enterprises or work with one of the local haulers to transport the product.
- Confidential Shred – RecyclAbility Enterprises in Yorkton provides a confidential shredding service in conjunction with Crown Shred and Recycling out of Regina. Residents of Yorkton and surrounding area as well as businesses can bring their material to be shredded to 180 Ball Road. The material will be weighed and placed in locked bins; Crown Shred and Recycling pick up locked bins every two weeks from 180 Ball Road and invoice the customer directly.
